Analog Circuit Behavioral Modeling
In this paper, we propose an auto-companding technique for the analog behavioral modeling via wavelet collocation method. The companding function is automatically constructed according to the singularities of the input-output function of the circuit block. Such a general-purpose technique can be applied for the automatic modeling of arbitrary building block of arbitrary input-output function. M...
متن کاملLook up Table Based Low Power Analog Circuit Testing
In this paper, a method of low power analog testing is proposed. In spite of having Oscillation Based Built in Self-Test methodology (OBIST), a look up table based (LUT) low power testing approach has been proposed to find out the faulty circuit and also to sort out the particular fault location in the circuit. In this paper an operational amplifier, which is the basic building block in the ana...
متن کاملParallel Preconditioned Hierarchical Harmonic Balance for Analog and RF Circuit Simulation
Circuit simulation is a fundamental enabler for the design of integrated circuits. As the design complexity increases, there has been a long lasting interest in speeding up transient circuit simulation using paralellization (Dong et al., 2008; Dong & Li, 2009b;c; Reichelt et al., 1993; Wever et al., 1996; Ye et al., 2008). On the other hand, Harmonic Balance (HB), as a general frequency-domain ...
متن کاملAnalog Circuit Modeling in SystemC
This paper proposes a methodology for the extension of SystemC to mixed signal systems. An oscillator made up of an inverter chain has been used to test the accuracy and stability of the algorithm proposed. Finally a simulation of a complex mixed-signal fuzzy controller is used to show the speed up achievable with a high level description of the analog block with respect to SPICE simulation.
متن کامل[Article] Improved Harmonic Balance implementation of Floquet analysis for nonlinear circuit simulation
We present a novel algorithm for the efficient numerical computation of the Floquet quantities (eigenvalues, direct and adjoint eigenvectors) relevant to the assessment of the stability and noise properties of nonlinear forced and autonomous circuits. The approach is entirely developed in the frequency domain by means of the application of the Harmonic Balance technique, thus avoiding lengthy t...
